Description: The Quadro Sifter pre-screens material before entering downstream equipment reducing the risk of contamination of final processed product and preventing damage to equipment and injury to personnel caused by foreign material. The infeed product falls into the sifting chamber. The material is then forced to the sifter surface by centrifugal acceleration ensuring continuous flow of material through the screen openings. The finished product is then discharged 360O around the screen and screen bottom to enhance product flow. Impurities and other foreign materials collected in the screening chamber can be suctioned off by an optional vacuum take-off.

Description: The automatic shufflo system type PVW meets the need to singulate carrots or other long-shaped vegetables like e.g. salad cucumbers, courgettes etc. so that the speed of both is synchronised. The Sormac knife peeler type KP-60/HS or the carrot topper / piece cutter type WOS-1A are ideal machines to place behind the shufflo system. The machine operates according to the known shufflo principle. Two up and down moving, step-shaped plates lift the carrots out of the infeed hopper. Next to this the carrots fall in a V-belt. The special infeed hopper takes care of an extra high filling degree.
